Key Qualifications & Experience:
- Master’s degree or higher in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution
- Valid or eligible California licensure in Speech-Language Pathology
- Ideally hold a Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or supervision-eligible for Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY)
- Previous experience in schools or with pediatric populations is a plus
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Collaborative spirit, with the capacity to work both independently and within a team
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments for students with speech and language difficulties
- Develop, implement, and adjust individualized therapy plans tailored to each student's unique needs
- Lead engaging therapy sessions targeting goals in speech, language, and communication
- Carefully monitor student progress and maintain accurate, timely documentation
- Work alongside educators, psychologists, and other related service providers for coordinated care
- Provide guidance and education for families to foster continued success at home and school
