Job Opportunity: Surgical Pathologist

The Department of Pathology at our organization is on the lookout for a surgical pathologist to support our growing service areas.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide diagnostic expertise in surgical pathology.
  • Collaborate with a dedicated team of specialized surgical pathologists.
  • Manage approximately 35,000 surgical specimens each year.
  • Engage in clinical and translational research opportunities.
  • Work alongside researchers at the Cardinal Bernardin Cancer Center.
Qualifications
  • MD degree or equivalent is required.
  • Board certification or eligibility in Anatomic Pathology (AP) or Anatomic and Clinical Pathology (AP/CP).
  • Must obtain a medical license in the State of Illinois.
  • Strong diagnostic capabilities and excellent communication skills are essential.
  • A demonstrated commitment to academic and scholarly achievements is preferred.

Benefits and Compensation

This position offers a competitive salary and benefits package, which includes:

  • Starting compensation ranging from $159,000 to $985,945, based on academic rank and experience.
