Job Opportunity: OB/GYN Position

Our organization is on the lookout for a Board Eligible or Board Certified OB/GYN to become part of a well-established practice situated just moments away from our medical center in Harlingen. Key Highlights:
  • Practice Environment: Clinic located just 2 minutes from the medical center.
  • Work Schedule: Monday to Friday, from 8 AM to 5 PM; structured call model with in-house call rooms provided.
  • Facilities: 14 labor rooms, 7 triage beds, 4 dedicated OBOR suites, and 24-hour in-house anesthesia support for labor and delivery.
  • Technology: Access to cutting-edge resources, including da Vinci robotic surgical systems, 3D mammography, and certifications for minimally invasive gynecologic surgeries (COEMIG/COERS).
  • Support Team: A strong team comprising clinic staff, anesthesia professionals, maternal-fetal medicine specialists, and Level III NICU coverage.
Candidate Qualifications:
  • M.D. or D.O. degree.
  • Possession of a Texas medical license or eligibility for an unrestricted Texas license.
  • Board Eligible or Board Certified by the ABOG or AOBOG.

Women’s & Children’s Services:

Our health system offers a full spectrum of care across our Harlingen and Brownsville campuses, featuring a Healthy Women’s Center, dedicated labor and delivery, and postpartum units, with OB/GYNs available around the clock. Both hospitals are designated as Level III Maternal facilities, providing advanced maternal-fetal medicine services in collaboration with specialized providers. Patients benefit from birthing and Lamaze training, lactation support, and family-centered programs that prioritize comfort and care.

We also have Level III NICUs at both hospitals, staffed by neonatologists and providers available 24/7. With additional support from subspecialists and telemedicine services, we offer critical, step-down, and intermediate care. Our NICU services are family-oriented, featuring sleep rooms, donor milk support, and breastfeeding consultations to ensure a seamless transition of care.
