Position Title: BE/BC Inpatient General Psychiatrist
\nLocation: Panama City, FL
\nEmerald Coast Behavioral Hospital is a Joint Commission-accredited psychiatric hospital. Located in the heart of beautiful Panama City, Florida, Emerald Coast Behavioral Hospital provides mental health services to children, adolescents, adults, active-duty service members and their families and veterans.
\nPosition Overview:

- Role: Full-time Inpatient Psychiatrist, Adult Unit \n
- \n
- \n
- Patient Population: Daily caseload will be adult populations but must be comfortable and willing to treat ages 12 and older for weekend call \n
- \n
- \n
- Schedule: Monday-Friday, daytime hours, onsite only \n
- \n
- \n
- Weekend Coverage: 1:4 Saturday/Sunday in-person rounding and telephonic call \n
- \n
- \n
- Weekday Call: One evening call shift per week by phone only. \n
- \n
- \n
- Employment Type: Full-time employed salary with benefits or fee for service options \n
- \n
- \n
- Additional earnings potential: Extra call options and Productivity Bonus Plan for employed W2 \n
Key Responsibilities:
\n- \n
- Conduct admission evaluations, develop treatment plans, and provide ongoing treatment follow-up for child and adolescent patients. \n
- Participate in daily treatment team meetings. \n
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality care. \n
- Complete required patient documentation and notes in accordance with facility guidelines. \n
- Supervision of NP \n
Compensation and Benefits:

- Competitive base salary for full-time W-2. \n
- Fee for service option is available \n
- Comprehensive benefits package including malpractice insurance, paid time off, CME package for full-time W-2 \n
- Relocation assistance and/or sign-on bonuses are available for full-time W-2. \n

Qualifications:
\n- \n
- \n
- Education: M.D./D.O. with Board Certification in General Psychiatry, BC in Child/Adolescent Psychiatry a plus. \n
- \n
- \n
- Training: Successful completion of an accredited Psychiatry residency and Child/Adolescent fellowship program a plus. \n
- \n
- \n
- Licensure: Florida medical license and DEA in good standing or eligibility to obtain it. \n
- \n
