A passionate Speech-Language Pathologist is needed to provide coverage during a maternity leave, from August 24th through November 16th. This engaging role welcomes both credentialed SLPs (CCC or CFY) and experienced Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPA) with school-based backgrounds.

Key Qualifications:

  • Valid state licensure or eligibility as a Speech-Language Pathologist (CCC, CFY) or Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA)
  • Previous experience working in a school setting (preferred)
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Ability to implement IEP goals and deliver therapy to a diverse student population
  • Strong organizational abilities and adaptability within dynamic school environments

Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct speech and language therapy to students in accordance with their Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
  • Collaborate closely with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support student development and progress
  • Contribute to student assessments and assist in developing, reviewing, and updating IEPs
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of services and student progress
  • Support positive, inclusive classroom environments and participate in related team meetings
