Shift: Split Shift 11:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m, Monday to Friday
Pay Rate: $35.00/hr on w2.
Job Description
The Small Pack Production Manager is responsible for overseeing daily e-commerce fulfillment operations across all shifts. This position provides leadership for picking, kitting, packing, labeling, and shipping activities while ensuring customer orders are processed safely, accurately, and on time.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage daily Small Pack production across first, second, and weekend shifts.
- Lead and develop supervisors, team leads, and production employees.
- Establish daily production plans based on order volume, backlog, staffing, and customer priorities.
- Monitor productivity, safety, quality, on-time delivery, and order-accuracy performance.
- Coordinate staffing and overtime requirements to meet changing business demands.
- Ensure efficient product flow through picking, kitting, packing, labeling, staging, and shipping.
- Address production interruptions involving equipment, inventory, staffing, or system issues.
- Coordinate with Control Center, Inventory, Shipping, Receiving, IT, Engineering, and Quality teams.
- Support automated and manual packing processes while identifying opportunities to improve workflow.
- Ensure employees follow standard operating procedures, safety requirements, and quality standards.
- Investigate missed production targets and implement corrective actions.
- Use SAP, EWM, production dashboards, and operational reports to track performance and make decisions.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives that increase output, reduce handling, and eliminate process waste.
- Provide leadership with daily updates regarding production results, staffing, risks, and recovery plans.
Qualifications
- Previous leadership experience in production, warehousing, distribution, or e-commerce fulfillment.
- Strong understanding of high-volume picking, packing, and shipping operations.
- Experience leading multiple shifts and managing supervisors or team leads.
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and employee-development skills.
- Ability to analyze operational data and develop corrective action plans.
- Experience with SAP, EWM, warehouse management systems, or similar platforms is preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree in business, supply chain, operations management, or a related field is preferred.
