Job Description
Step into an impactful role serving elementary students as a School Psychologist. This full-time contract opportunity offers the chance to work with young learners and support their growth both academically and emotionally. You will collaborate with faculty and families to provide essential counseling and evaluations, playing a pivotal role in student success. The assignment begins as soon as possible and extends through December 31, 2026, ensuring consistent professional engagement.
Key Qualifications:
- Valid certification or licensure as a School Psychologist
- Experience working with elementary-aged children
- Strong skills in counseling, assessment, and report writing
- Ability to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Commitment to fostering a positive, inclusive school environment
Responsibilities:
- Provide counseling services to a caseload of approximately 20 elementary students
- Conduct comprehensive psychological evaluations to support learning and behavioral needs
- Participate actively in the special education process, including IEP meetings
- Collaborate regularly with teachers, administrators, and families to advocate for student well-being
- Support interventions and strategies to enhance students’ educational experiences
- Maintain thorough documentation in compliance with federal, state, and local regulations
This position’s schedule runs from 8:45am to 3:45pm, Monday through Friday, allowing for a balanced workday within a structured and supportive learning community. Your expertise will directly enrich the lives of children while partnering with dedicated colleagues in a positive environment.
