School Speech Language Pathologist - San Jose, CA

Step into a fulfilling contract position supporting students’ communication needs in a vibrant school environment near San Jose, CA. This in-person opportunity brings added value to campuses requiring experienced Speech-Language Pathologists (SLP) to handle increased caseloads and deliver essential services throughout the start of the school year.

In these roles, you’ll offer direct support across multiple locations, providing both therapeutic and assessment services for students ranging from early education to high school levels. This assignment consists of three distinct positions:

• One SLP from the start of the school year until a permanent hire is made, split between Braly Elementary (serving moderate to moderate-severity cases) and Briarwood Elementary (focusing on general education and preschool students). You’ll rotate between sites daily but have a consistent daytime schedule.
• Two additional SLPs are needed from the beginning of the year through mid to late September, serving general education populations at the middle or high school level. Caseloads average 40–50 students.

Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or related field required
• Valid SLP license preferred
• CCC-SLP certification highly desired
• Demonstrated experience in school settings
• Strong assessment, documentation, and communication skills
• Adaptability to work across varied student populations and locations
• Passion for collaborative, student-focused service delivery

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct speech and language assessments to support campus needs
• Deliver individual and group therapy services
• Collaborate with teachers, specialists, and families for student success
