This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented legal professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys supporting attorneys in complex matters, and takes pride in providing exceptional client service.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare, edit, proofread, and format legal correspondence, pleadings, motions, agreements, and other case-related documents.
- Manage document comparisons, PDF conversions, scanning, and electronic file organization.
- Electronically file documents in state, federal, bankruptcy, and appellate courts nationwide.
- Maintain litigation calendars and docket court deadlines, scheduling orders, hearings, and briefing schedules.
- Organize and maintain electronic and physical client files, pleadings, and supporting documentation.
- Review and finalize attorney time entries and assist with billing and invoice management.
- Coordinate attorney calendars, meetings, depositions, conferences, and travel arrangements.
- Provide administrative support to attorneys and deliver outstanding client service to internal and external stakeholders.
Required:
- Strong administrative experience in a legal or professional services environment.
- Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent written communication, grammar, proofreading, and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities, deadlines, and interruptions while maintaining accuracy.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to high-quality work product.
- 2+ years of experience supporting a Bankruptcy, Creditors' Rights, or Litigation practice.
- Prior law firm experience.
- Experience with legal document management and time-entry systems.
- Familiarity with iManage and Intapp software platforms.
- Dependable, professional, and highly organized.
- Thrives under pressure and consistently meets deadlines.
- Strong team player with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Client-focused with a proactive and service-oriented mindset.
- Adaptable and comfortable working in a dynamic legal environment.
