Obstetrician Gynecologist Laborist
Job Description
The Department of Obstetrics & Gynecology is looking for a full-time, board-certified or board-eligible OBGYN Laborist to join our team at the Women's and Newborns Hospital. This role will be appointed as an Assistant Professor of Clinical Obstetrics and Gynecology.
Key Responsibilities- Provide in-house obstetrical coverage and oversee clinical care for patients on the labor floor.
- Supervise and manage care for antepartum and postpartum inpatients.
- Oversee gynecologic consultations, including those that may require surgical intervention.
- Act as the Attending for Physician Assistants.
- Engage in continuing medical education and contribute to departmental quality initiatives.
The salary for this position will be based on qualifications and experience, complemented by a comprehensive benefits package, relocation assistance, and opportunities for professional growth. This competitive compensation package is aligned with both national and local standards.
Base Salary Range: $325,000

Actual salaries may vary based on factors such as internal equity, specialty, training, and community needs.
Qualifications- A medical degree is required.
- Completion of a 4-year ACGME-accredited residency in obstetrics and gynecology.
- Board eligibility or board certification in obstetrics and gynecology is necessary.
- A valid New York State Medical License is required or must be obtainable.
- A strong commitment to excellence in patient care and teaching is essential.
