UCSF Fresno OB/GYN Generalist
Job Description
Our organization is seeking an academic general OB/GYN faculty member. Candidates can choose between a hospitalist role, which involves 15 shifts of 10 to 12 hours each month, or an outpatient-only position. Depending on the selected role, duties will encompass:
- Providing patient care at the primary teaching hospital.
- Teaching and supervising medical students and residents.
- Consulting with patients at one of our outpatient facilities.
- Engaging in research and quality improvement initiatives aligned with professional training, skills, and career aspirations.
Compensation and academic rank will be determined based on qualifications. Opportunities for administrative and leadership roles are also available.
QualificationsApplicants must meet the following criteria at the time of hiring:
- Completion of an ACGME/AOA accredited OB/GYN residency program.
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in OB/GYN.
- Eligibility to obtain a California Medical License or already possess one.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Fluency in multiple languages, especially Spanish and Hmong.
