We are excited to announce a $5,000 Sign-On Bonus for this role.

Our organization is in search of a dedicated Full-time Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team at a Skilled Nursing Facility.

SLP Qualifications:
  • Must have graduated from an accredited Speech Language Pathology program.

  • Possession of a current SLP License in New York State is required.

  • Experience in skilled nursing or geriatric care is preferred; however, new graduates with relevant experience are welcome to apply.

Primary Responsibilities:
  • Conduct Speech Therapy evaluations and assessments to diagnose residents and formulate treatment plans.

  • Track residents' progress and modify treatments as necessary.

  • Document details regarding initial evaluations, treatment plans, progress, and discharge of clients.

  • Evaluate and monitor progress, preparing comprehensive reports.

  • Safeguard resident confidentiality by managing sensitive information appropriately.

  • Ensure adherence to applicable laws, regulations, and standards.

  • Foster a collaborative environment among healthcare team members.
