Qualifications:

  • Active Texas OT license required
  • Must clear state fingerprinting/background check
  • At least several years of school or pediatric experience preferred (Highly qualified COTAs with robust experience will be considered)
  • Must not be a former employee of the district or have been previously terminated from any school district (will require an affidavit)
  • On-site availability is mandatory for the full 37.5 hours per week

Responsibilities:

  • Serve an assigned zone of 6–7 schools in the Houston area
  • Provide OT services using a flexible rotating schedule (caseload of around 70, with direct services for 30–40 students)
  • Conduct student evaluations, participate in ARDs, and maintain thorough documentation using SHARES and Onward software
  • Collaborate with district staff and manage caseloads independently
