School Psychologist - Berrien Springs, MI

Step into a rewarding role supporting elementary students in a dynamic educational environment as a School Psychologist. This contract position offers the flexibility to work part-time or full-time, with schedules ranging from 20 to 35 hours per week based on your availability and preference. You’ll provide essential psychological and educational support across 2 to 3 elementary buildings, depending on your chosen hours.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations and psychological assessments to identify student needs
• Collaborate with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to develop effective intervention plans
• Support individualized education programs (IEPs) and Section 504 plans
• Offer counseling services and crisis intervention as needed
• Participate in team meetings, consultation, and professional development opportunities
• Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with school policies and regulations
• Travel between school sites with reimbursement provided for mileage
• Potential to arrange a hybrid remote schedule, depending on experience and district needs

Qualifications:

• Master’s or specialist-level degree in School Psychology from an accredited program
• Valid school psychologist credential or eligibility to obtain one
• Experience conducting psychoeducational assessments and preparing IEPs
