Senior Staff Accountant
Are you an experienced accountant with a passion for international accounting? We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Staff Accountant to join a dynamic engineering organization. This role offers the opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple currencies and international transactions. If you have strong accounting experience and are comfortable working with foreign exchange and transfer pricing, we want to hear from you!
Key Responsibilities:
· Manage financial accounting operations across various countries.
· Ensure compliance with accounting standards and oversee currency conversions.
· Handle financial reporting and facilitate the monthly close process.
· Monitor foreign currency transactions and ensure proper accounting.
· Ensure compliance with local and international tax laws.
· Coordinate audits and respond to inquiries from auditors and regulatory authorities.
· Maintain an updated understanding of global tax treaties and accounting standards.
· Propose and implement process improvements to streamline accounting workflows.
Qualifications:
· Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
· Several years of experience in accounting, with a focus on international operations.
· Proficiency in foreign currency accounting and financial consolidation.
· Understanding of international accounting standards and tax laws.
· Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
· Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks with accuracy.
· Proficiency in MS Office applications, especially MS Excel.
