Job Description
As a therapist within our organization, you will report directly to the Clinical Manager and play a vital role in assisting patients to regain their strength, mobility, and independence from the comfort of their own homes. By providing tailored care that emphasizes functional improvement, you will empower individuals to overcome challenges and enhance their quality of life.
Key Responsibilities- Implement the physical therapy treatment plans for patients in their homes, as designed by the Physical Therapist.
- Administer a variety of therapeutic techniques, including non-complex active and passive manual exercises, therapeutic massage, and modalities such as heat, cold, water, and electrical treatments.
- Maintain accurate client records and ensure timely submission of clinical documentation to the office on a weekly basis.
- Participate in educational meetings and facilitate departmental in-services.
- Alert the Physical Therapist or Branch Director regarding any equipment malfunctions, supply shortages, or changes in staff or client status.
- Utilize infection control principles and universal precautions while performing patient care tasks.
- Possession of a current state license to practice Physical Therapy.
- A valid driver’s license, auto insurance, and dependable transportation.
- Current CPR certification.
- Experience working collaboratively with a team of healthcare professionals.
- Thorough understanding of the physical, emotional, social, and biological changes that occur in the elderly population.
- Fluency in reading, writing, and speaking English.
- At least one year of experience as a Physical Therapy Assistant.
Pay is structured on a per visit/unit basis, ranging from $41.00 to $57.00.
Additional Information- TB Screening: This position involves direct patient interaction and is part of our Tuberculosis (TB) screening program. Candidates selected for this role will need to undergo TB screening.
- Driving Requirements: This role is included in our driver safety program, necessitating a valid state driver’s license and personal vehicle liability insurance. Individuals must maintain insurance that meets or exceeds state minimum requirements, or at least $25,000 for bodily injury per person, $25,000 for bodily injury per event, and $10,000 for property damage.

Salary RangeThe salary range provided reflects a good faith estimate of the starting base pay for full-time employment (40 hours per week) at the time of posting. Actual pay may vary based on geographic location and individual qualifications, including skills, experience, education, and certifications.
$58,400 - $80,000 per year
