Occupational Therapist School Setting in Cambridge, MA

This full-time contract opportunity focuses on supporting students from pre-kindergarten through fifth grade during a 12-week maternity leave, with the possibility of extension.

Preferred Qualifications and Experience:

• Current, valid Occupational Therapist license in Massachusetts (or eligibility to obtain)
• Previous experience in schools or healthcare settings supporting pediatric clients, especially elementary-aged students
• Demonstrated proficiency with interventions for a range of developmental, sensory, and physical needs
• Familiarity with school-based documentation, IEP processes, and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
• Strong communication, organization, and adaptability skills

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct therapy and consultative services to elementary students in group and one-on-one formats
• Assess, plan, and implement individualized treatment programs based on student needs and IEP goals
• Collaborate with educators, families, and related service providers to support student outcomes
• Maintain detailed and timely documentation in accordance with school, state, and federal requirements
• Participate in team meetings, IEP development, and parent conferences as needed
