Job Description

This full-time contract opportunity focuses on supporting students from pre-kindergarten through fifth grade during a 12-week maternity leave, with the possibility of extension.

Preferred Qualifications and Experience:
- Current, valid Occupational Therapist license in Massachusetts (or eligibility to obtain)
- Previous experience in schools or healthcare settings supporting pediatric clients, especially elementary-aged students
- Demonstrated proficiency with interventions for a range of developmental, sensory, and physical needs
- Familiarity with school-based documentation, IEP processes, and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
- Strong communication, organization, and adaptability skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct therapy and consultative services to elementary students in group and one-on-one formats
- Assess, plan, and implement individualized treatment programs based on student needs and IEP goals
- Collaborate with educators, families, and related service providers to support student outcomes
- Maintain detailed and timely documentation in accordance with school, state, and federal requirements
- Participate in team meetings, IEP development, and parent conferences as needed
