Key Qualifications:

  • Hold a valid Occupational Therapist license in the state (or eligibility for Maine licensure).
  • Previous experience in a school-based or pediatric setting is highly preferred.
  • Strong understanding of IEPs, goal writing, and progress monitoring.
  • Solid organizational, communication, and time-management abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
  • Adept at adapting interventions to diverse student needs and abilities.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct and consultative occupational therapy services to students as determined by IEPs.
  • Assess, evaluate, and document student progress toward established goals.
  • Develop individualized intervention plans to enhance students’ functional and academic success.
  • Collaborate with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support holistic student development.
  • Participate in IEP meetings, write reports, and maintain accurate documentation.
  • Contribute to a positive and inclusive learning environment and assist with staff education as needed.
