This contract position offers two openings with full-time hours (37.5 per week) supporting schools near Kent, WA. Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders
  • Current SLP-CCC (Certificate of Clinical Competence) required
  • Valid state licensure or ability to obtain prior to start date
  • Previous experience providing speech and language services in school settings strongly preferred
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
  • Ability to effectively manage a diverse caseload of students across grade levels
  • Commitment to fostering an inclusive, supportive, and positive learning environment

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive speech, language, and communication assessments
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to each student’s needs
  • Deliver direct and consultative therapy services for students with communication disorders
  • Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and families to support student progress
  • Maintain thorough documentation, progress notes, and required reports
  • Attend and participate in IEP meetings, professional development, and multi-disciplinary team meetings
  • Stay current with best practices and continuing education in speech-language pathology
