Key Qualifications:
- Licensed SLP, or eligibility for licensure in Illinois
- Previous experience in school settings preferred
- Skill and enthusiasm for working with ages 5-21 in a special needs environment
- Understanding of autism, emotional disabilities, developmental delays, intellectual and other health impairments
Responsibilities:
- Conduct evaluations, assessments, and classroom observations
- Compose thorough and timely reports for students with a range of abilities
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to design and implement individualized programs
- Maintain detailed records and participate in IEP processes
Schedule & Details:
- Assignment runs from ASAP through June 28, 2027, including the summer term
- School Year Hours: 8:00AM – 4:00PM, Monday through Friday
- Summer/June Hours: 7:45AM – 2:15PM, Monday through Friday
