Become a part of our organization, the largest health system in South Jersey and the only state-designated Level II Trauma Center in the area. We are excited to announce an opportunity for a Board Eligible/Board Certified Orthopedic Trauma Surgeon to enhance our extensive fracture and trauma services.

Collaborative Team Environment

You will be welcomed into a dynamic and high-performing team that includes:

  • Two orthopedic surgeons specialized in trauma, catering to both adult and pediatric patients.
  • A dedicated hand surgeon focused on complex upper extremity and hand trauma cases.
  • A strong trauma infrastructure that collaborates with regional EMS and community hospitals.

This setup allows for immediate subspecialty collaboration and the chance to establish a leading regional referral center for upper and lower extremity trauma, fracture non-unions, pelvis and acetabulum surgeries, as well as intricate reconstructive procedures for both adults and children.

Your Role

As an integral member of our trauma team, your responsibilities will include:

  • Providing comprehensive care for upper and lower extremity, pelvis and acetabulum, and general orthopedic trauma in both adult and pediatric patients.
  • Offering on-call and routine coverage at our regional Level II Trauma Center.
  • Performing elective orthopedic trauma and post-traumatic reconstruction procedures, with a preference for candidates experienced in joint replacements.
  • Building a regional referral network for fracture non-unions and complex cases.
  • Collaborating with orthopedic colleagues to develop a world-class comprehensive fracture service.

Our trauma program serves patients across South Jersey and the surrounding tristate area, ensuring coordinated care with our Mobile Intensive Care Unit (MICU) for the swift transport and management of critically injured individuals.

Compensation Range

The salary range for this position is $621,298 - $847,684.
