Compensation

Pay Range: $28.68 - $34.72 per hour, depending on prior experience.

What You Bring (Requirements)

• Graduation from an accredited Therapy Assistant program, eligible for certification and/or licensure as per state regulations.
• Registered assistant or eligible for registration in Colorado.
• Ability to comprehend medical terminology and its application in therapy to effectively communicate with residents, staff, and physicians, as well as prepare meaningful reports.

Your Responsibilities

The COTA will deliver high-quality ongoing therapy to all patients in accordance with physician orders. Responsibilities include:

• Maintaining continuous communication with therapists, residents, and staff regarding the progress of therapy programs.
• Assisting therapists with resident-related activities and direct patient care while adhering to departmental policies.
• Performing therapy treatments and related tasks as delegated by the therapist.
• Providing therapy to residents based on written orders from their attending physicians, including:
• Reporting residents’ progress to the therapist and attending physician.
• Consulting with the therapist and physician regarding any changes in residents’ conditions during treatment.

We have a dedicated team of nurses, rehabilitation therapists, and home health aides focused on delivering personalized healthcare with compassion and empathy. We specialize in caring for older adults and provide in-home health services across Delta, Montrose, and Ouray counties.
