Qualifications and Experience:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or equivalent
  • Current license or eligibility for licensure as an SLP in California
  • Experience or strong interest in working with elementary-aged students
  • Familiarity with IEP processes, assessments, and evidence-based therapy techniques in school settings
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Ability to adapt to new environments and collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams

Your Responsibilities:

  • Provide speech and language evaluations, therapy, and support for elementary students
  • Develop/implement individualized treatment plans based on student needs and goals
  • Complete comprehensive documentation and progress monitoring
  • Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, administrators, and families to foster student success
  • Attend IEP meetings and contribute professional insights to support student development
  • Consult with staff and caregivers, offering strategies for effective classroom communication
  • Flexibility to respond to emerging needs and updates as further details are gathered for this position
