Ideal candidates possess:

  • Active or pending SLP-CCC or CFY licensure and appropriate state credentials
  • Previous school-based SLP experience (preferred, but CFYs are welcome)
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills with teachers, administrators, and families
  • Ability to develop and implement IEPs and deliver direct therapy services
  • Organizational skills to manage caseload documentation and related compliance
  • Flexibility to adapt to both full-year and leave coverage assignments

In this position, your responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting speech/language and communication assessments
  • Participating in multidisciplinary team meetings and IEP development
  • Designing and implementing therapy programs for students with a variety of needs
  • Maintaining accurate, timely records and compliance with state and federal guidelines
  • Providing both individual and group therapy services
  • Communicating progress to families and collaborating with school staff
