Key Qualifications:
- Valid OT license in Maine
- Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
- Previous experience in K-12 educational settings strongly preferred
- Knowledge of IEP development and implementation
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to adapt therapeutic techniques to meet diverse student needs
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver occupational therapy services to a varied student population from August 20, 2026, through June 9, 2027
- Assess, plan, and execute individualized therapy interventions informed by student assessments and IEP goals
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to support student participation in school routines
- Document progress, maintain compliance with regulatory standards, and participate in IEP meetings as required
- Educate staff and families on strategies to enhance student independence and engagement
