Job Description
Step into a fulfilling full-time opportunity supporting students as an on-site Speech-Language Pathologist for the upcoming academic year. This contract runs from August 17, 2026, through June 4, 2027, offering you a consistent and rewarding work schedule (37.5 hours/week).
Essential Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Valid SLP licensure for the state or eligibility to obtain before start date
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred
- Previous school-based SLP experience is highly valued
- Strong written and verbal communication abilities
- Ability to collaborate within multidisciplinary teams
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct and consultative speech-language services as outlined in students’ IEPs
- Accurately document SLP-related progress, interventions, and goal attainment on IEPs
- Complete all SLP-specific sections on eligibility evaluations in coordination with evaluation teams
- Prepare and submit comprehensive progress reports to parents and educational staff
- Participate actively in IEP meetings, offering expertise and recommendations for student success
- Engage with classroom staff and families to support carryover of strategies in both school and home environments
