Step into a meaningful role supporting students with diverse needs across the upcoming academic year and summer months. You'll provide speech and language services to a special needs population, ranging in age from 5 to 21, in a dynamic school setting. Your expertise will make a lasting impact for students with diagnoses including autism, emotional disabilities, developmental delays, and related conditions.

This contract opportunity runs from ASAP through June 28, 2027, with regular school hours of 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM during the academic year and 7:45 AM to 2:15 PM, Monday through Friday, for summer/JUNE sessions. Collaborate with educators and families to help every student achieve their communication goals.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Current state licensure (or eligibility) and ASHA certification (CCC-SLP preferred)
  • Previous experience in school settings preferred, especially with special needs populations
  • Comfort with evaluations, assessments, observations, and report writing
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Commitment to serving students with autism, emotional disabilities, developmental delays, and other health impairments

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct speech and language evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans
  • Deliver therapy services to meet students’ IEP goals
  • Observe, assess, and monitor progress, maintaining detailed reports
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, teachers, and families
  • Support students within inclusive and specialized classroom settings
  • Adapt therapy approaches for a variety of learning needs and styles
