Job Description

This full-time role serves a district with four school buildings, offering services to K-12 learners and collaborating with dedicated teams from August 26th, 2026, through June 14th, 2027.
Key Qualifications:
- Active Vermont Occupational Therapy (OT) Certificate is required
- Previous school-based OT experience strongly preferred
- Excellence in assessment, documentation, and individualized goal-setting for diverse student populations
- Strong communication skills to collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams
- Ability to manage a caseload spanning kindergarten through high school students
Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive OT services district-wide, effectively supporting students in four school settings
- Conduct assessments, develop and implement IEP goals, and provide direct interventions tailored to each student’s needs
- Maintain thorough, timely documentation in accordance with federal, state, and district requirements
- Collaborate with educational staff and parents to create supportive classroom environments and recommend adaptive strategies or modifications
- Participate in team meetings and contribute professional insights in multidisciplinary planning
