Job Description
Step into a rewarding role supporting students’ communication development in an engaging educational environment. This on-site, full-time SLP position offers the opportunity to work closely with students from a diverse community and collaborate with dedicated school professionals. The assignment begins August 25, 2026 (students start September 8, 2026) and continues through June 10, 2027. The district is welcoming of Clinical Fellows (CFs), making this an ideal setting for professionals at all stages.
Key Qualifications:
- Active Minnesota SLP license (please attach PDF with application)
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP), or eligibility as a Clinical Fellow (CF)
- Experience in school settings preferred
- Strong communication, organizational, and collaboration skills
- Commitment to fostering supportive and inclusive learning environments for all students
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech and language therapy to K-12 students according to IEPs
- Conduct assessments, write evaluation reports, and develop treatment plans
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to maximize student progress
- Maintain accurate documentation and case management records
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to student planning and goal setting
- Deliver both group and individual services as required by caseload
This is a contract, Monday through Friday position, totaling 37.5 hours per week for the duration of the school year. You’ll play a vital role in empowering students and will have the chance to further hone your skills in a supportive district.
