Job Description
We are currently seeking a Board Certified or Board Eligible Urologist to become a part of our dynamic, hospital-centered practice located in the greater Phoenix area. This role is perfect for a driven physician who thrives in an inpatient setting, enjoys tackling complex cases, and is eager to work across multiple hospitals in one of the fastest-growing metropolitan areas in the United States.
Position Highlights- Inpatient-focused role as a urology hospitalist, with optional opportunities for outpatient clinic work if desired.
- Weekend call shifts ranging from 8 to 26 per year (Friday 1:00 p.m. to Monday 8:00 a.m.).
- Coverage for approximately 3 to 7 hospitals each weekend, supported by 1 to 2 Advanced Practice Providers (APPs) and a strong clinical team.
- All licensing and credentialing fees will be fully covered by the organization.

We are recognized as a premier destination for referrals from physicians and patients in the Phoenix area, particularly for:
- Robotic surgeries for prostate and kidney cancer, as well as sacrocolpopexy.
- Advanced treatments for incontinence, benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH), and erectile dysfunction.
You will be joining a large, collaborative team that includes:
- Urology Specialists: Jeffrey Stern MD FACS, Aaron LaTowsky MD, David Kaplan MD, Chandan Kundavaram MD, John Mai MD, Amy Schlaifer MD, Joshua Jones MD, Oliver Ko MD
- Urogynecology Specialists: Jennifer Klauschie MD, Keri Wong MD, Hemikaa Devikumar MD, Christina Rogers DO
- 12+ Advanced Practice Providers supporting both inpatient and outpatient care.
Our areas of expertise encompass:
- Prostate cancer, Da Vinci robotic surgery, GreenLight laser, vasectomy.
- Incontinence and female vaginal prolapse.
- Erectile dysfunction.
- Laparoscopic nephrectomy.
- Advanced BPH and pelvic health therapies such as ThermiVa, Rezum, and Urolift.
The Urology Hospitalist will be responsible for:
- Providing weekend inpatient coverage and rounding on hospitalized urology patients.
- Managing post-operative patients, handling inpatient consults, and performing urologic surgeries and procedures.
- Collaborating closely with APPs and the broader team to ensure high-quality, evidence-based care.
- Incorporating clinic/outpatient sessions based on personal interest and group requirements.
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Urology.
- Open to both new graduates and seasoned physicians.
- Both AMG and IMG candidates are encouraged to apply.
- A keen interest in modern, technology-driven urologic care and complex inpatient management.
