Job Description
Robert Half Finance and Accounting are currently looking to recruit a Financial Controller to join an exciting Construction company experiencing huge growth based in Gloucester. For the right person the client is offering a very competitive:
\n£75,000 - £85,000 plus up to 15% bonus and 3 remote working days per week
\nRole responsibilities will include but not limited to:
\n- \n
- Manage the monthly, quarterly and annual close process for all UK entities \n
- Build, lead and develop the local Finance team \n
- Ensure accurate statutory accounting in UK GAAP (FRS 102) and IFRS compliance \n
- Prepare and submit group reporting packages, ensuring data quality, reconciliation and IFRS adjustments \n
- Coordinate external audit preparation and ensure timely delivery of audited statutory financial statements \n
- Coordinate transfer pricing documentation with Group Tax Manager \n
- Implement and maintain internal controls \n
- Manage bank relationships and corporate registration matters for the UK \n
- Act as finance business partner for Regional Managers \n
- Manage analytical accounting and reporting for projects and contracts \n
- Define and monitor cash forecasts in coordination with local managers and Group Treasury \n
- Drive process improvement and ERP optimisation \n
Person specification:
\n- \n
- Fully qualified (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) with 3-5 years PQE \n
- Operating within Engineering, Manufacturing,Construction, Energy, Retail or FMCG \n
- Currently operating as a technical Senior Finance Manager or Financial Controller \n
- Have an in-depth knowledge of consolidation and reporting tools \n
- Working knowledge of IRFS \n
- In-depth knowledge in advanced function for Excel, Power Point, Word, Power Query/database, Power BI and automated dashboards \n
