c£45k (plus an excellent bonus)

4 days onsite, 1 day WFH

This role is based in Northeast England, working within the creative and marketing team for an trusted industry-leading wholesaler. You will be overseeing a small, talented design team, working alongside their Head of Brand and Creative to deliver impactful creative work across digital, video, motion, print and branding - shaping their creative direction and elevating their brand storytelling.

\n

This role is a permanent, full-time, hybrid role, on-site in Durham (North East England) 4 x days, remote 1 x day.

During a continued period of growth, they are heavily investing in their marketing, with 2 big projects to get stuck into the next year, one of which being a brand refresh. You will be part of the creative team that is elevating their design offering and rolling this out. They offer a state-of-the-art workplace with incredible facilities along with a collaborative and friendly team, and the opportunity to learn and develop in your role.

The Role

\n


\n

This is a digitally first creative role, where you will be working on a wide array of digital assets to short-form video content and animations, from concept to delivery of a wide array of digital projects from the initial storyboard/sketch phrase through to final rendered product, working to produce a high quality of creative output across the board. The work is fast paced and varied due to them having physical stores and a strong digital presence.

You will be managing and mentoring a small team of creatives, fostering a great team culture and a strong creative output, so previous experience of managing is a must.

\n


\n

Being one of the senior leads, you will be working with stakeholders of all levels, from C-suite employees to branch staff, being solution driven and enjoying collaborating with different teams as well as thinking strategically and able to confidently present creative work in meetings.

You will have….

\n

You have a passion for all things design and a digital first mindset that is reflected in your portfolio

\n

A design qualification and 5+ years of relevant design role that has included team management and a strong emphasis on digital or multimedia

\n

You are a natural storyteller and are able to develop a simple and compelling brand narrative which ties campaigns together

\n

Experience of working within retail or e-commerce environment would be beneficial

\n

Excellent knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign)

\n

Excellent knowledge of After Effects and Premiere Pro

\n

Strong conceptual skills, Art Direction experience beneficial

\n

You are confident in presenting creative work to stakeholders at all levels

\n

Social Media savvy - understanding of different social platforms from TikTok to Instagram and LinkedIn

\n

You have a strong strategic and operational mindset

\n

You have very good communication and interpersonal skills, with a positive attitude.

\n

This role is based in Durham, which is in East Yorkshire in the North East of England, before applying please ensure that you are able to commute to the studio for a minimum of 3-4 days per week
