Warehouse Operative

Job Opportunity: Warehouse Operative Assignment Type: Full-time, Long-term Temporary

Working Hours:37 hours/week, rotating shifts (10:30 am – 18:30)

Pay Rate: £13.45 per hour (After successful completion of 12 weeks,pay rate will change to £16.52)

Role Overview

This position is responsible for ensuring daily customer requirements and productivity levels are met in line with departmental KPI’s.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure all sales orders are processed accurately and promptly.
\n
• Ensure all Purchase Orders are processed promptly.
\n
• Follow all policy guidelines as issued by management on the processing of orders.
\n
• Develop appropriate product and systems knowledge to carry out daily workload.
\n
• Involvement with individual and team projects.
\n
• Perform additional duties as determined by the Distribution management team.
\n
• Identify and report any health, safety and environmental issues within the workplace.
\n

Required Experience & Skills

\n
• Proficient in basic computer packages.
\n
• Good standard of literacy & numeracy.
\n
• Good communication skills
\n
• FLT license (Advantage)
\n
• Bendi/Flexi license (Advantage)
\n
• Flexible approach to work
\n
