Role : Extrusion SetterLocation : CoventryDuration : 12 monthsRate : £21.72/hour PAYEPurposeTo inspect a variety of product within the Thermal Value Stream to confirm conformance and control any non-conformance through relevant procedure.Key responsibilitiesSetting and operating Hydraulic presses for extrusion and part pierceSetting and operating Heat treatment furnacesEnd of shift clean down and adherence to 5S standardRaising of Safety Concerns where identified (including Product Safety Concerns)Key RequirementsApprentice engineering or relevant experience.An engineering apprenticeship is desirable, although training will be given.1 year's similar experience in an engineering manufacturing facility.Ability to read and interpret Engineering drawings.Ability to operate various inspection and test equipment.Good computer skills are desirable, as is a knowledge of the computer systems used (SAP, Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook, Q-Pulse etc).Demonstrable ability to work with minimum supervision.Good oral and written communication skills are required.Please apply if you want to join a leading aerospace organisation!If you receive suspicious outreach claiming to be from us, please contact us via the ManpowerGroup website.TPBN1_UKTJ
