Our client is looking to recruit an experienced Fire Door Inspector to join their team, covering sites across Scotland.You'll play a key role in ensuring fire doors meet current fire safety legislation and British Standards, helping clients maintain safe, compliant buildings across a range of commercial and residential properties.You'll be responsible for carrying out detailed fire door inspections, identifying defects, producing accurate digital reports, and recommending remedial actions to ensure compliance.Key ResponsibilitiesCarry out detailed fire door inspections in accordance with current legislation and industry best practiceAssess the condition and compliance of fire doors, frames and associated ironmongeryIdentify defects including damaged intumescent seals, faulty hinges, gaps, glazing issues and other non-compliant componentsProduce clear, accurate digital survey reports with supporting photographic evidenceRecommend remedial actions to achieve complianceWork closely with project teams and clients to ensure inspections are completed to a high standardMaintain excellent levels of professionalism and customer service while working on occupied sitesTravel to sites across Scotland as requiredRequirementsExperience carrying out fire door inspections and surveysGood knowledge of BM TRADA preferred methods of maintenance for fire doorsAbility to accurately identify defects and recommend appropriate remedial worksGood attention to detail and strong organisational skillsExperience using compliance software such as Bolster or One Trace is desirableFull UK driving licence preferredRight to work in the UKWhat's on OfferCompetitive salary of £38,000 - £40,000 per annumCar allowanceHybrid workingDiverse range of commercial and residential projects across ScotlandSupportive team environmentOpportunity for career development and long-term progressionIf you live in and around Glasgow, Edinburgh, Dundee, Aberdeen, Stirling, Perth, Inverness, Falkirk, Livingston, Paisley, Ayr, Dumfries, or the surrounding areas, this could be the role for you.Ready to take the next step in your career?Apply today and help us shape the future!TPBN1_UKTJ
