A leading facilities management provider is looking to recruit an experienced Shift Engineer to join their engineering team at a critical pharmaceutical site in Cambridge.Working as part of a large on-site engineering team, you'll carry out planned preventative and reactive maintenance to ensure critical building services remain safe, compliant, and fully operational within a fast-paced environment.Key ResponsibilitiesCarry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance on electrical or mechanical systemsDiagnose faults and complete repairs across building services plant and equipmentPerform routine inspections, testing, and fault-finding activitiesMaintain HVAC, pumps, motors, lighting, power, and associated building services equipmentComplete maintenance records using CAFM systemsRespond to breakdowns and support critical site operationsEnsure all work complies with health & safety procedures and statutory regulationsWork closely with engineers, contractors, and site teams to deliver high service standardsRequirementsRecognised Mechanical or Electrical qualification (City & Guilds, NVQ Level 3, or equivalent)Previous experience within facilities management, commercial building services, or a similar maintenance environmentStrong fault-finding and diagnostic skillsExperience maintaining mechanical and/or electrical plant and equipmentFull right to work in the UKWhat's on OfferCompetitive salary of £52,000 per annum4 on 4 off continental shift pattern (Days & Nights)Plenty of overtime available to boost earningsOpportunity to join a large, well-established engineering teamOngoing training, development, and career progression opportunitiesStable, long-term position on a critical commercial siteIf you live in and around Cambridge, Ely, Newmarket, Royston, St Neots, Huntingdon, Saffron Walden, Bury St Edmunds, Haverhill, Cambourne, or the surrounding areas , this could be the role for you.Ready to take the next step in your career?Apply today and join a leading engineering team delivering essential maintenance services.TPBN1_UKTJ
