HGV Class 1 Weekend Driver

Weekend HGV Class 1 Driver (Saturday & Sunday Only)

JT Recruit is currently recruiting HGV Class 1 Drivers on behalf of our client based in Eastwood.

This is a weekend-only position, working Saturday and Sunday, delivering fresh bakery products across your assigned route. You will be responsible for the company vehicle and maintaining excellent customer service standards while representing the client's brand.

The Role

• Saturday & Sunday work only
\n
• Start times available between 03:00 and 20:00 (preferred start times considered)
\n
• 1012 hour shifts
\n
• Modern vehicles with the latest technology
\n
• Trunking work no multidrop deliveries
\n
• Some manual handling required (moving cages on and off trailers)
\n
• Long-term ongoing work available
\n

Requirements

\n
• Valid UK HGV Class 1 Licence
\n
• Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
\n
• Maximum 6 points for minor offences
\n
• Good understanding of transport legislation and tachograph regulations
\n
• Excellent customer service skills
\n
• Reliable, punctual, and dependable
\n

Pay Rates

\n
• Saturday Days: £20.32 per hour
\n
• Saturday Nights: £23.88 per hour
\n
• Sunday Days: £27.09 per hour
\n
• Sunday Nights: £31.84 per hour
