Monday to Friday | 40 hours per week | Flexible start/finish timesThe OpportunityAn exciting opportunity has arisen for an experiencedForklift Engineerto join a well-established business maintaining its own fleet of specialist forklifts.This is a workshop-based role where you'll take ownership of the maintenance, servicing and repair of a modern fleet, working closely with the operations team to ensure maximum uptime across the business.The RoleService, repair and maintain a fleet of side loader forkliftsDiagnose and rectify mechanical, electrical and hydraulic faultsCarry out planned preventative maintenance and inspectionsEnsure all equipment is maintained to a safe and reliable standardManage workshop stock and order replacement parts when requiredComplete maintenance records accuratelyLiaise with operational teams to minimise downtimeMaintain a clean, organised and safe workshopAbout YouYou'll ideally have experience working on forklifts, plant machinery or similar mobile equipment.You'll have:Experience servicing, maintaining and repairing forklifts, plant or material handling equipmentStrong mechanical, hydraulic and basic electrical fault-finding skillsThe ability to work independently and manage your own workloadGood organisational and communication skillsA proactive approach to maintenance and problem solvingA full UK driving licenceA forklift licence would be advantageous but isn't essential.What's on Offer?£35,000 - £42,000 depending on experienceMonday to Friday workingFlexible working hoursCompany pensionProfit sharingCompany eventsFree onsite parkingCanteen facilitiesLong-term job securitySupportive working environmentIf you're an experiencedForklift Engineer,Plant Engineer,Plant FitterorService Engineerlooking for your next challenge, we'd love to hear from you.Apply today or contact Adam Hickman at Apex Appoint for a confidential discussion.TPBN1_UKTJ
