Using your technical expertise, youll identify issues, arrange repairs and oversee works to ensure quality, compliance and great customer outcomes. Working as part of our Repairs and Maintenance team, youll help deliver reliable, high quality homes that our customers can feel proud of.What youll doCarry out inspections, surveys and diagnose issues to keep our customers' homes safe, well maintained and compliantScope repairs and improvements with clear practical solutions, supporting trades and contractors by providing technical advice and guidanceManage disrepair cases and manage complex cases such as damp and mouldOversee works and track progress against specifications, schedules and standardsMake sure empty homes are ready to re-let quicklyWhy join usWe offer great training and development, and a culture where your ideas and input are valued. We cant offer a CoS for this role.You haveHNC, HND or Degree in Surveying or a Construction-related discipline, orMCIOB and strong post-qualification experiencePCAQT and HHSRS qualification, or willingness to complete it after joining usStrong understanding of building pathology and ability to diagnose complex works such as subsidence. Current knowledge of relevant housing and building legislation and experience of Construction Design Management (CDM) client and design side.Experience diagnosing property condition and scoping for remedial works, working with DLO teams and contractorsStronger togetherWe do our best work when were ourselves.
