Associate Director - Town Planning

Responsibilities of Associate Director - Town Planning:

• Act as Planning Lead on projects across a range of markets and sectors
\n
• Lead bid preparation, tender submissions, and framework responses
\n
• Act as lead consultant on multi-disciplinary projects, taking responsibility for project management and delivery
\n
• Lead coordination and delivery of EIA, options appraisals, and environmental management across multi-disciplinary teams
\n
• Engage with market and client leads to support business growth and development opportunities
\n
• Support commercial and resource management of projects, bids, and local teams
\n
• Champion high standards of technical delivery, influencing project development and delivering optimal environmental outcomes
\n
• Mentor and support junior colleagues within the planning team
\n

Essential Requirements forAssociate Director - Town Planning:

\n
• Relevant Planning degree with RTPI membership or working towards
\n
• Chartered experience with a track record delivering major infrastructure projects
\n
• Experience leading large-scale TCPA applications and holding lead roles within DCO, Hybrid Bill, Highways Act, or TWAO processes
\n
• Comprehensive knowledge of the EIA process and environmental technical expertise
\n
• Experience in Strategic Planning and Planning policy
\n
• Strong commercial coordination and project management skills
\n
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
\n
• Demonstrable ability to develop and maintain client relationships
\n
• Highly self-motivated with strong commitment to delivering sustainable outcomes
