Job Type: Ongoing Holiday & Sickness Cover
Shift Pattern: Monday to Friday Days
Recruit A Driver is currently recruiting experienced Class 2 Day Drivers for a well-established transport and logistics company based in Wakefield.
\nThe role involves completing pallet network multi-drop deliveries, typically 10 or more drops per day, before collecting pallets for return to the depot. You'll be driving modern Euro 6, DVS-compliant vehicles fitted with tail lifts and curtain-side bodies.
\nThis client values drivers who know their operation and regularly re-books reliable, site-experienced drivers for holiday and sickness cover.

Complete pallet network multi-drop deliveries

Carry out customer collections throughout the day

Operate curtain-side and tail-lift vehicles safely
\n - \n
Complete daily vehicle safety checks
\n - \n
Ensure delivery paperwork is completed accurately
\n - \n
Deliver excellent customer service
\n - \n
Comply with Driver Hours and Working Time Regulations

Valid UK Class 2 (Category C) Licence

Driver CPC Qualification Card
\n - \n
Digital Tachograph Card
\n - \n
Previous Class 2 multi-drop experience preferred

Maximum 6 penalty points (minor endorsements only)
