\nA specialist boutique consulting firm is looking to hire an Analyst to join its growing London team.
\nThe firm advises on complex commercial, economic and legal matters, with work spanning high-value disputes, litigation and arbitration, business valuation, competition, regulation and financial analysis.
\nThe team works on sophisticated international assignments and combines rigorous economic and financial analysis with hands-on involvement from experienced consultants and expert witnesses.
\nThe Role:
\nThis is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate or someone with approximately 1–2 years of professional experience who is interested in applying economics, finance and quantitative analysis to complex real-world commercial problems.
\nYou will contribute to live client projects from an early stage, working alongside experienced consultants and senior experts while developing your analytical, commercial and communication skills.
\nThe role is particularly well suited to someone interested in economic consulting, disputes, litigation, arbitration, valuation or expert advisory work.
\nResponsibilities:

- Conduct detailed economic, financial and commercial analysis. \n
- Research companies, industries, markets and broader economic issues. \n
- Analyse financial information and complex datasets. \n
- Support business valuation, damages and loss quantification work. \n
- Contribute to high-value litigation and arbitration assignments. \n
- Assist with the preparation of analytical reports and presentations. \n
- Work closely with senior consultants and expert witnesses throughout engagements. \n
- Develop an understanding of different industries, businesses and economic issues. \n
- Present analytical findings clearly and concisely to project teams. \n
- Take ownership of research and analytical workstreams as your experience develops. \n
Requirements:
\n- \n
- Graduate or candidate with approximately 1–2 years of professional experience. \n
- Degree in Economics, Finance, Mathematics, Engineering, Physics or another quantitative/STEM discipline. \n
- Strong numerical and analytical ability. \n
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills. \n
- Comfortable working with quantitative information and solving unfamiliar problems. \n
- Strong research skills and attention to detail. \n
- Commercial curiosity and an interest in understanding how businesses and industries operate. \n
- Proactive, intellectually curious and willing to learn. \n
- Comfortable working within a small, collaborative and hands-on team. \n
- Genuine interest in disputes, economic consulting, valuation or expert advisory work. \n
- Existing right to work in the UK without requiring visa sponsorship. \n
