Job Title - Process Engineer - Trim & Final

- Lead a team of Manufacturing Engineers as part of the Trim and Final area providing guidance, support, and mentorship. \n
- Develop & implement department strategy for power tooling, working with internal stakeholders and external suppliers. \n
- Develop and implement efficient manufacturing processes for Trim and Final operations, ensuring quality standards, cost targets, and delivery schedules are met. \n
- Working Knowledge about PFC, PFMEA, Control Plan and Check sheet along with SOP’s preparations. \n
- Working knowledge about EBOM and MBOM. \n
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including design, production, and quality to optimize product design for manufacturability and resolve any manufacturing issues. \n
- Conduct feasibility studies, cost analyses & capacity planning to support new product introductions & process improvements. \n
- Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance manufacturing efficiency, productivity, and quality. \n
- Ensure compliance with safety & regulatory standards, identifying & mitigating potential risks in the manufacturing process. \n
- Evaluate and select equipment, tools, and technologies to optimize production capabilities and improve overall efficiency. \n
- Provide technical expertise and support to resolve any manufacturing issues or bottlenecks in Trim and Final operations. \n
- Foster a culture of teamwork, innovation, and collaboration within the manufacturing engineering team. \n
- Support the launches of new vehicles, providing relevant process, tooling, and facilities. \n
- ECR/ECN implementation with cost efficiency, Quality & Sustainable process mapping. \n
- Cost effective solutions on Poka Yoke. \n
Knowledge, Abilities & Experience

- Proven experience in the automotive industry manufacturing engineering with a focus on Trim and Final operations. \n
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to effectively manage and motivate a team. \n
- In-depth knowledge of manufacturing processes, quality standards, and lean manufacturing principles. \n
- Proficiency in utilizing Autocad/Catia/Pro E software and manufacturing tools. \n
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to analyze complex manufacturing challenges. \n
- Strong project management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines. \n
- Familiarity with safety and regulatory standards in the automotive industry. \n
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. \n
- Results-oriented mindset with a continuous improvement mindset. \n
