FJA are recruiting on behalf of a well-established engineering and manufacturing business. We are looking for an experienced Miller/Turner to join a skilled production team, manufacturing precision-machined components to exacting standards.Why apply?On-site ParkingFull-Time Permanent PositionMonday to Friday Day Shift39 Hours per WeekOpportunity to work within a skilled engineering environmentThe Miller/Turner Role:Set up and operate milling and turning machines to manufacture precision componentsRead and interpret engineering drawings, specifications and work ordersWork to minimum tolerances of 15 micronsMachine predominantly 300 series stainless steel, along with a variety of other materialsUse measuring equipment including calipers and micrometers to inspect finished partsCarry out routine maintenance of machinery and toolingCollaborate with colleagues to ensure efficient production processesFollow all Health & Safety procedures and maintain a clean working environmentProgramme basic tool paths as requiredMiller/Turner Requirements:Proven experience as a Miller/Turner or in a similar machining roleExperience operating milling and turning machines with Prototrak S Series and XYZ S Series controlsAbility to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical specificationsExperience working within an engineering or manufacturing environmentFamiliarity with tooling techniques and precision machining practicesAbility to programme basic tool pathsStrong mathematical and problem-solving skillsExcellent attention to detail and commitment to qualityAbility to work independently with minimal supervisionDesirable Skills:Experience using Fanuc ControlsIf you are looking for a fantastic Miller/Turner opportunity and want to work for a well-established engineering company that values quality and precision, then click on the apply now button.Due to the high volume of applications we receive we are not always able to reply to all applications.
