\nMeraki Talent is partnering with a Financial Services firm that specialises in supporting Private Equity and Private Markets businesses.
\nThey are looking for a Business Analyst / Consultant to join their growing delivery team. This is a varied, client-facing role for someone who enjoys combining business analysis, project delivery, stakeholder management and solution design.
\nKey Responsibilities:
\nProject & Programme Delivery
\n- \n
- Lead and deliver multiple client projects and workstreams, managing priorities across engagements. \n
- Take ownership of project plans, timelines, milestones, budgets and deliverables. \n
- Monitor risks, issues and dependencies, escalating effectively where required. \n
- Support projects throughout the full delivery lifecycle, including scoping, requirements, solution design, testing, training and implementation. \n
Client & Stakeholder Management
\n- \n
- Lead client meetings, workshops and regular project updates. \n
- Communicate complex information clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences. \n
- Prepare and present materials for Steering Committees and governance forums. \n
- Recognise potential account development opportunities and communicate these to senior leadership. \n
Business Analysis & Solution Design
\n- \n
- Analyse business processes, operating models and client requirements to identify challenges and opportunities. \n
- Gather, document and validate functional and business requirements. \n
- Work closely with operations, technology and data teams to develop effective solutions. \n
- Support process mapping, testing and implementation activities. \n
- Contribute to both tactical improvements and longer-term strategic solutions. \n
Internal Contribution

- Contribute to internal initiatives, forums and continuous improvement projects. \n
- Support the development of internal methodologies, tools and best practice. \n
- Provide regular updates to leadership on project and internal initiatives. \n
- Take ownership of your own professional development and continue building expertise within Private Capital. \n
Person Specification:
\nWe are open to candidates from a range of backgrounds, but this role would particularly suit someone who is:
\n- \n
- A Senior Business Analyst looking to move into a more client-facing consulting position. \n
- A Senior Analyst ready to take greater ownership of projects and client delivery. \n
- An existing Consultant from a boutique or mid-sized consultancy looking for exposure to Private Capital. \n
- A Business Analyst with experience across financial services, investment operations or private equity. \n
You MUST have:
\n- \n
- AT LEAST two years experience delivering projects within Financial Services, Private Equity or Private Markets. \n
- Exposure to tools such as Power BI, SQL, iLevel or Visio would be beneficial. \n
- Strong business analysis and requirements-gathering experience. \n
- Experience managing projects, workstreams or significant project deliverables. \n
- Strong stakeholder and client management skills. \n
- Experience with change, transformation or implementation projects. \n
- An understanding of operational processes, data platforms and reporting environments. \n
- Exposure to Private Equity middle-office functions or investment operations would be highly beneficial. \n
- Experience with middle-office technology implementations, investment data, portfolio reporting, fund operations or performance reporting would be advantageous. \n
- Strong Excel, PowerPoint and other Microsoft Office skills. \n
