People Solutions are currently recruiting for an HGV Class 2 Driver to join our well-established client based in Nottingham.

This is a fantastic opportunity offering great rates of pay and genuine opportunities to secure a permanent position.

This role would suit candidates with experience as an LGV Class 2 Driver, Category C Driver or Truck Driver.

Rates of Pay:

• £15.33 per hour
\n

Shift Pattern:

As an HGV Class 2 Driver, you will work:

\n
• Monday to Friday
\n
• Start times between 06:30 and 07:30
\n

Day-to-Day Duties:

Your duties as an HGV Class 2 Driver are:

• Multidrop deliveries to commercial and residential locations
\n
• Driving a curtain-sided vehicle
\n
• Operating a tail lift and delivering palletised goods
\n
• Assisting with handballing when required
\n
• Driving Category C vehicles safely and efficiently
\n
• Ensuring all loads are safe and secure
\n
• Completing any necessary paperwork
\n

Essential Skills:

To be successful as an HGV Class 2 Driver, you will need:

\n
• To be comfortable with early starts
\n
• A minimum of twelve months' previous Class 2 driving experience
\n
• A valid UK Category C Driving Licence
\n
• A valid CPC Card and Digital Tachograph Card
\n
• No more than six penalty points for minor infringements
\n
• No major endorsement codes
\n

Training:

As an HGV Class 2 Driver, you will receive:

• Industry-related training
\n
• Ongoing support throughout your assignment
\n
