\nOur client is a well-established international manufacturer, part of a large multinational group, supplying advanced technology solutions to customers across a range of high-growth industrial sectors. Operating within highly regulated markets including electronics, automotive, industrial and technology, the business is recognised for its commitment to quality, innovation and continuous improvement.\n
\nDue to continued investment, they are looking to appoint an experienced Health & Safety Manager to lead Environmental, Health & Safety activities across their UK manufacturing site.\n
\nThis role has 1 direct report and is a site-based position supporting a manufacturing facility of approximately 200 employees, offering the opportunity to drive safety culture, ensure compliance with global standards and influence continuous improvement initiatives.\n
\nKey Responsibilities\n

\n
• Lead all Environmental, Health & Safety activities across the UK manufacturing site.
\n
• Ensure compliance with UK legislation and corporate EHS standards.
\n
• Develop and maintain a positive health & safety culture throughout the business.
\n
• Conduct risk assessments, audits and incident investigations, implementing corrective actions where required.
\n
• Deliver EHS training and coaching across all levels of the organisation.
\n
• Monitor and report on EHS performance, KPIs and compliance.
\n
• Liaise with regulatory bodies where necessary.
\n
• Support environmental compliance and sustainability initiatives.
\n
• Work closely with site leadership to drive continuous improvement in EHS performance.
\n

About YouWe're keen to speak with experienced EHS or Health & Safety professionals who have a strong background within manufacturing or engineering environments.\n
\nIdeally you will have:\n

\n
• Previous experience as an EHS Manager, Health & Safety Manager or Senior H&S Advisor.
\n
• Strong knowledge of UK Health & Safety legislation.
\n
• Experience working within manufacturing, engineering or another industrial environment.
\n
• NEBOSH trained or qualified (Diploma or Certificate) or equivalent.
\n
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. We need someone with an engaging personality to get buy in across different areas of the business.
\n
• A proactive, hands-on approach with the ability to influence at all levels.
\n

LocationThis is a site-based role, ideally suited to candidates living within a commutable distance of Harwell, Didcot, Wantage, Abingdon, Oxford, Wallingford or surrounding areas.\n
