Revised Recruitment Group is recruiting a confident and enthusiastic Cover Supervisor to join the team at aHigh School in Barry. This is a fantastic opportunity to secure a full-time role for the entire academic year within a supportive and forward-thinking secondary school. The School is an 1119 comprehensive school serving the Vale of Glamorgan.

  Supervise lessons in the absence of the class teacher, ensuring students remain on task.

\n
• \n

  Deliver pre-prepared lesson plans across a range of subjects.

\n
• \n

  Maintain a positive, productive and respectful classroom environment.

\n
• \n

  Manage classroom behaviour in line with the school's behaviour policy.

\n
• \n

  Provide feedback to teaching staff on pupil engagement and lesson outcomes.

\n

\n
• \n

  Experience working with young people in a school, coaching, youth work or similar setting is desirable.

\n
• \n

  Excellent communication and classroom management skills.

\n
• \n

  A confident, resilient and professional approach.

\n
• \n

  The ability to build positive relationships with students and staff.

\n
• \n

  An enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one).

\n
• \n

  Registration with the Education Workforce Council (EWC), or eligibility to register.

\n

• \n

  Full-time, consistent work for the entire academic year.

\n
