Job Description

We’re currently recruiting for an experienced Electrician to join a major electrical remedial works programme across Scotland.

This is an excellent opportunity to work on a large-scale utilities programme, carrying out remedial electrical works across commercial and operational sites. The initial contract is 3 months, with the potential to become a rolling contract and potentially lead to a permanent position as further projects are secured.

The Role

\n

As an Electrician, you’ll be responsible for:

\n
    \n
  • Carrying out remedial electrical works across commercial and operational sites
  • \n
  • Diagnosing and rectifying electrical faults in line with current regulations
  • \n
  • Completing installation, maintenance and minor upgrade works
  • \n
  • Testing, inspecting and certifying completed electrical installations
  • \n
  • Ensuring all works comply with BS 7671 and relevant health & safety requirements
  • \n
  • Travelling between sites across Scotland as required
  • \n
  • Working independently and managing your own workload
  • \n

You'll Need

\n
    \n
  • NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation or equivalent
  • \n
  • AM2 qualification
  • \n
  • Approved Electrician status
  • \n
  • 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (BS 7671)
  • \n
  • Inspection & Testing qualification (2391 or equivalent) desirable
  • \n
  • Experience carrying out remedial works within commercial, industrial or utilities environments
  • \n
  • ECS Gold Card
  • \n
  • Full UK Driving Licence
  • \n
  • Ability to work independently
  • \n
  • Current Basic DBS check or willingness to obtain one
  • \n
