We're currently recruiting Class 2 (Category C) HGV Drivers on behalf of a well-established company within the waste management industry. This is an excellent opportunity for both experienced and newly qualified drivers looking to build a long-term career, with full training provided and the chance to secure a permanent position. The Role: Monday to Friday 12-week temp-to-perm opportunity 06:45am start (approximately 50 hours per week) Delivering, collecting and exchanging skips Operating Skip, RoRo and Tipper vehicles Completing daily vehicle checks and recording deliveries using a PDA Ensuring all work is completed safely and within scheduled time slots What We're Looking For: Full UK Class 2 (Category C) licence Valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph card Newly qualified drivers are encouraged to apply Previous Skip or RoRo experience is an advantage, but full training is available Experience using chains is beneficial Own transport to travel to and from work Good understanding of health & safety procedures and drivers' hours regulations What You'll Receive: £250 sign-up bonus after your first 10 completed shifts Competitive rates of pay Weekly pay PAYE or PAYE Advanced payment options Full training provided Onsite parking Opportunity to secure a permanent role after 12 weeks 24/7 support from the Driver Hire Southampton team Why Driver Hire Southampton?
